With the introduction of Apples’ new mobile operating system iOS 6 comes a new way of tracking users for advertisers.
It is on by default and to turn it off is not where you would think you would find it under Privacy Menu but rather in the General Menu then under Advertising. The other tricky thing is that if you want to stop the tracking you must turn it ON, when you would think that you want it off.

It’s easy to use and FREE….oh did I mention it was FREE?
Fathers Day this Sunday
By · CommentsIt’s Fathers Day this Sunday and it brings up memories of my father, who passed away 18 years ago. Even though it has been a long time, I still miss him.
He was the voice of reason in our large family of 6 children. He was in the Army and not always around when we were little, but by the time I was going into high school, he had retired from the Army and was home more often.
I remember one particular memory when I was planning my schedule of classes he advised that I take the classes I have to take and get those out of the way as soon as possible/practicable so that when my senior year came along, I would have time to do the things I wanted not the things I “HAD” to.
I entered into my senior year with only 2 credits to graduate, the rest were electives I wanted to take. I keep this lesson with me, to just tackle what you have to right out of the gate so there is room for the things you want to do.
I know this isn’t about social media at all, but I feel my fathers lesson is timeless and something we can all use.

Laughing is Good for your Soul
By · CommentsI have been remissed in keeping up with my own blog as I have been really busy helping others. Nonetheless, I must practice what I preach so I found a cute video below. Often, we get so caught up in what we need to do, have to do and want to do that we can feel a bit stressed.
